Fontaine felt herself out of control for once. Here was a man she didn't have to tell what she wanted. He knew everything. He was very. . . accomplished.

'You're like a dancer,' he breathed in her ear. 'You make love like a dancer who has been in training.'

'Hmmm . . . And you . . . you're like a stallion . . .'

He laughed. 'The Greek Stallion. It sounds like a bad movie! When I was twenty I was a stallion -now

They made love endlessly -or

so it seemed to both of them. And they were comfortable together -there

was none of the awkwardness that sometimes happens the first time two people are in bed together.

The added bonus was that they could talk, not about anything special, just conversation.

Fontaine never had conversations with her transient studs -sometimes

verbal skirmishes, but never conversations.

The same applied to Nico and his fresh-faced beauties. How boring and bland they all seemed once the initial thrill of a new body was over.

The thing that turned him on about Fontaine more than anything was her mind. She might be one tough lady -but

she had wit and perception, and he wanted to dig deeper and find out more about the woman beneath the sophisticated veneer.

'I want to know all about you,' he said softly, 'who why-how. From the beginning.'

Fontaine rolled over in bed. She felt delightfully satisfied. 'You're the man of mystery. I meet you on a plane the next minute we're in bed. But all I know about you is your name. You could be'

'What?' He pinned her arms to the bed playfully. 'A mass murderer? A maniac?' He kissed her hard and released her. 'And don't tell me Mrs Khaled hasn't gone to bed with a man she met on a plane before.'

'Well. . . once or twice.'

'Oh, yes, once or twice I bet.' He smiled. 'How many men have you had?'
